JANOD BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED WOODEN TOYS FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN

The Janod toy company was founded in 1970 in Orgelet, France by Louis Janod. Alongside associate, Serge Salvi, Louis and a small team of like-minded individuals began creating traditional wooden toys like yo-yos and skittles with modern design twists to increase their appeal to the current generation of children. As the range of toys grew throughout the following three decades, the brand gained more and more fans. In 2004 the Juratoys group was formed, and Janod moved into the international market. The brand offers beautifully painted, wooden walking trolleys and bricks and classic style rocking horses in bright patterns for toddlers aged 1 year and above. Our favourite rocking horse is Punchy, a super cute little circus style fella, guaranteed to provide lots of energetic fun, whilst brightening up the nursery, bedroom or playroom. Under 3s can also enjoy Janod's magnetic rocket, plane and helicopter, fairground hook-a-duck (or fish!) game and stacking pyramids. The Confetti range of musical instruments is a great introduction to music making. From easy to play maracas, rainsticks and tambourines to guitars and pianos, the whole family can join in the fun. Story Express Train Sets are Janod's contribution to the world of toy rail systems. The brand's Firefighter and Safari themed sets offer a fantastic, contemporary alternative to more classic versions. They include wooden play buildings, vehicles and figures and magnetically coupled trains. These lovely wooden sets are compatible with most leading toy rail brands.
